This residence is located on a beautiful site withviews of forests, vineyards and hills east of the town of Sonoma. The home is one story wood framed with gable roofs defining each of the major rooms.
The Living Room/ Kitchen Great room features a tall pitchedgable ceiling with a cupola above the kitchen island. Sliding pocketed doors and screens are positioned on both sides of the LivingRoom and provide a seamless link to front and rear outdoor terraces. Cupolas over the entry hall, and the “Car Barn” provide even natural light and a sense of spacial drama to these areas.
The house wraps around a central rear court yard and adjoining lawn area that faces a magnificent old oak tree. The bedrooms, the media room and the pool room all have high gable end windows that spill natural light onto their ceilings.
